im sure i saw on here a aplha beta release was arranged for the 1 of jan :?:

whats up with this? it seems like years now ive been waiting for a play able demo of c43.. is there anything i can do to help :?:

Pre-alpha (wikipedia), actually. Nothing beta in the least. It was an internal release, and was only about a week or so late with a few compromises.

There was a faux pre-alpha2 release scheduled for February 22nd, which was strictly for documentation (design docs, guidelines, etc.), but it went by mostly unmet. We're all working on this project on a volunteer basis, so things are slow going when reality rears its ugly head.

Yup, patience is a virtue. We actually forked a playable game, so, technically speaking, it is playable: just nothing matching our overview.
