The world of 3d gaming is fast and competitive, while we started on the Quake 3 derived, Xreal engine we now feel it is time to move on to a better engine. We are still staying opensource and are committed to release to as many platforms as possible. Our time with Xreal was exciting and we did a private test release at the end of last year that taught us a lot of what is required of a game dev team. Even with the current progress (that is viewable in GIT and our Gallery) we feel a new engine will speed up development and get you a playable experience much faster.
Therefore, we have now switched to use Bungie's (yes the people that made Halo!!!) opensource engine, Aleph One. Check out the engine at its website, http://source.bungie.org/index.php/Main_Page .
