No we didn't contact the TeamCombat team and we don't intend to. Although we wish luck to Ando and company.

That's not entirely true. I contacted TeamCombat (through their forum) long ago, before Code 43 even had a name, hoping ando, DD from the truecombat forum, and us could combine our efforts. Alas, ando never even responded. You can read my post here.

Most definitely. We are holding off on major public relations until we have something substantial to relate. You can expect detailed announcements when we have something to report beyond the basic information on the web site.

I just wanted to say that it was quite interesting to see the development on the Xfire forum but now there is just the counter of the "total posts" in this forum which indicate that something is going on... A few news would be great and a bit of propaganda keeps people intersted and maybe they want to contribute something at some point!
